Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 14, 2026
Overview
Protocol Zero ("we", "our", "us") is operated by Humanos LLC. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting the personal information you share with us through the Protocol Zero iOS application ("the App").
Information We Collect
Information You Provide
- Email address — optionally provided for account features and communications.
- Sleep preferences — wake time, bedtime, and protocol task selections stored locally on your device.
- Health data — if you grant HealthKit access, we read sleep analysis data. This data stays on your device and is never sent to our servers.
Information Collected Automatically
- Analytics events — anonymized usage events (e.g., feature usage, onboarding completion) via Mixpanel to improve the app experience.
- Crash reports — automatic crash diagnostics to identify and fix bugs.
- Subscription data — purchase and subscription status managed through RevenueCat.
- Advertising identifiers — if you consent to App Tracking Transparency, we collect IDFA for ad attribution via Meta's Conversions API. This helps us measure ad performance.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide and personalize the sleep protocol experience.
- To process subscriptions and in-app purchases.
- To send notifications for protocol tasks (with your permission).
- To improve the app through anonymized analytics.
- To measure advertising effectiveness (with your consent).
Data Storage
Your sleep protocol data, preferences, and completion history are stored locally on your device using Apple's standard storage mechanisms. We do not operate servers that store your personal health or sleep data.
Third-Party Services
- RevenueCat — subscription management. Privacy Policy
- Mixpanel — anonymized analytics. Privacy Policy
- Meta (Facebook) — ad attribution (with consent). Privacy Policy
Your Choices
- You can deny App Tracking Transparency to prevent ad identifier collection.
- You can deny HealthKit access — the app works fully without it.
- You can deny notification permissions.
- You can delete the app at any time, which removes all locally stored data.
Children's Privacy
Protocol Zero is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
