Sensitive Information. We do not process sensitive information.

Social Media Login Data. We may provide the option to register using your existing social media account details (e.g., Facebook, X). If you choose this, we will collect certain profile information as described in “HOW DO WE HANDLE YOUR SOCIAL LOGINS?”
Application Data. If you use our application(s), we may collect the following if you grant access/permission:
Mobile Device Access. e.g., contacts or other features (you can change permissions in your device settings).
Mobile Device Data. e.g., device ID, model, manufacturer, OS/version, app identifiers, browser type/version, hardware model, ISP/mobile carrier, IP address/proxy, phone network, and features accessed.
Push Notifications. We may request permission to send you push notifications. You can turn these off in your device settings.
This information is primarily needed to maintain security and operation of our application(s), for troubleshooting, and for internal analytics and reporting.
All personal information you provide must be true, complete, and accurate, and you must notify us of any changes.

In Short: If you register or log in using a social media account, we may receive certain profile information from that provider.
We use the information we receive for the purposes described in this notice or otherwise made clear to you. We do not control third-party providers’ use of your data. Review their privacy notices and set your preferences on their platforms.
6. HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION?
In Short: We keep your information as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this notice unless otherwise required by law.
We do not keep personal information longer than necessary. No purpose in this notice requires us to keep your personal information longer than three (3) months after termination of a user’s account. When there is no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will delete or anonymize it; if not immediately possible (e.g., backups), we will securely store and isolate it until deletion is possible.
7. HOW DO WE KEEP YOUR INFORMATION SAFE?
In Short: We aim to protect your personal information through organizational and technical security measures.
Despite our safeguards, no electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. Transmission of personal information to and from our Services is at your own risk. Access the Services within a secure environment.
8. DO WE COLLECT INFORMATION FROM MINORS?
In Short: We do not knowingly collect data from or market to children under 18 years of age.
If we learn that personal information from users under 18 has been collected, we will deactivate the account and promptly delete the data. If you become aware of any data we may have collected from children under 18, please contact us at contact@protocolzero.app.

Withdrawing your consent. If we rely on consent, you can withdraw it at any time by emailing contact@protocolzero.app. This will not affect processing prior to withdrawal or processing based on other lawful grounds.
Opting out of marketing. You can unsubscribe via the link in our emails or by emailing contact@protocolzero.app. We may still send non-marketing, service-related communications.
Account Information
To review or change your account information or to terminate your account, log in to your settings or email us at contact@protocolzero.app.
Upon termination, we will deactivate or delete your account and information from active databases. We may retain limited information to prevent fraud, troubleshoot, assist investigations, enforce our terms, or comply with legal requirements.
10. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems/apps include a Do-Not-Track (DNT) setting. No uniform standard exists for recognizing DNT signals, so we do not respond to them. If a standard is adopted in the future, we will follow it and update this notice.

Category J — Education information. Examples: student records and directory information. Collected: No.
Category K — Inferences drawn from personal information. Examples: profiles or summaries about preferences and characteristics. Collected: No.
Category L — Sensitive personal information. Examples: as defined by applicable law. Collected: No.
We may also collect other personal information in limited contexts (e.g., customer support, surveys, delivering Services, responding to inquiries).

We have not disclosed, sold, or shared personal information to third parties for a business or commercial purpose in the preceding twelve (12) months, and we do not sell or share personal information.

Request Verification
We will verify your identity using information already maintained by us or request additional information solely to verify and for security/fraud-prevention.
Appeals
If we decline your request, you may appeal by emailing contact@protocolzero.app. We will provide a written explanation of our decision. If denied again, you may contact your state attorney general.
California “Shine the Light”
California residents may request, once per year, information about the categories of personal information (if any) disclosed for direct marketing purposes and the names/addresses of third parties with which it was shared. Submit requests via contact@protocolzero.app.

We process personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and New Zealand’s Privacy Act 2020. If you do not provide necessary information, we may be unable to offer Services, respond to requests, manage your account, or confirm identity.
